Bass Guitar

Kryo is the heartbeat of Synthetic Scars — cold, calculated, and devastating when he wants to be. Once a studio ghost who laid down uncredited bass tracks for dozens of underground bands, Kryo never sought the spotlight — until Fl@sh dragged him into it with a single dare: “Try screaming into the void with us.”

His playing style is a strange hybrid: part post-punk groove, part detuned violence. With five strings slung low and a tone that could crumble concrete, Kryo’s basslines are the scaffolding on which the band’s chaos is built. Offstage, he’s nearly silent, often seen with noise-cancelling headphones on — even during conversations.

Kryo writes in subsonic emotion. He doesn’t talk about his past. Rumors swirl: ex-EMT, sound engineer dropout, asylum volunteer. No one knows the truth. CH1PS once described him as “the void between pulses.”

“People forget the bass until it’s the only thing left shaking their bones.”
