Synthetic Scars: Where It Began

In the shadowed corners of the underground scene in 2025, Synthetic Scars wasn’t formed — it was unearthed.

It started when guitarist Fl@sh cracked open an old notebook from the late ’90s/early 2000s. Inside were forgotten fragments — lyrics scribbled in high school angst, riffs drawn in the margins, memories inked in rage and sorrow. Something in those pages hit different. Something needed to come back.

One call to longtime friends and fellow sonic misfits — H3xx on vocals, Kry0 on bass, and NOV@ behind the drums — and the blueprint was suddenly breathing.

But it didn’t end there.

To finish what they started, the band brought in a custom-built AI engine named CH1PS — an unstable but brilliant digital mind programmed to pull from decades of music, memory, and mayhem. CH1PS didn’t just assist… it evolved, pushing the band’s sound into new territory. Through its vast databanks, two more members emerged from the static: GL1+CH, a turntablist raised in distortion, and 3CH0, a synth architect of shadows.

Together, the seven-piece collective forged something brutal, melodic, and unmistakably alive.

With one foot in the grit of late-90s Nu Metal and the other in the bleeding edge of what’s next, Synthetic Scars isn’t just a band.
